Glass crafts in Turkey trace their roots back to 16th century BC; but the gradual loss of the next-generation successors has become their problem of today.


An international candy chain shop from Spain has a shop in the center of Istanbul; they attract the world by exposing their candy making process at every shop.


This project focuses on the materiality of glass and candy as a common tether. It uses techniques, that glass craftsman kept protecting for centuries, to make candies, endeavoring to regain public concern and to inherit traditional techniques.
